More solar power for European retail leader: Aldi and Quanta Energy expand their energy partnership.

We’re about to begin the second stage of solar panel installations on Aldi store rooftops. Clean solar energy will soon power refrigeration systems, ventilation, air conditioning, and lighting.

Phase One – Complete! Over 2,000 photovoltaic panels are now operational across selected Aldi locations, supplying renewable electricity directly to the stores. This green energy is used on-site to run essential equipment.

With more than 5,300 stores, 91,000 employees, and over 100 years of heritage, Aldi continues to lead by example in sustainable retail practices.

The successful completion of the first phase is just the beginning. We’re now moving forward with the next stage of this large-scale green energy initiative – more updates coming soon!
