Aptiv industry

Quanta Energy, in collaboration with Aptiv, a global technology leader in the field of mobility, has delivered an innovative photovoltaic installation project on the façade of Aptiv’s production facility in Gdańsk. This marks the second joint project between the two companies, following the earlier construction of a ground-mounted solar farm.

The new investment transforms the factory’s façade into a source of clean energy and, combined with the existing photovoltaic installation, creates a modern, resilient, and environmentally friendly power system. This solution not only reduces energy costs but also strengthens the plant’s energy independence, supporting Aptiv’s global sustainability strategy.

“Energy transformation requires bold thinking, and this is exactly the approach we are implementing together with Aptiv. The solar façade demonstrates that innovative solutions can both reduce costs and redefine how industry uses energy. At Quanta Energy, we believe that such projects will become the standard of modern industry, enhancing its competitiveness on a global scale,” said Piotr Grzybczak, CEO of Quanta Energy.

Aptiv, employing over 190,000 people across 140 manufacturing sites and 11 major technical centers worldwide, is a global leader in software-defined mobility. In Poland, the company conducts both R&D and manufacturing activities, collaborating with some of the most prestigious automotive brands, including Ferrari, Porsche, BMW, Volvo, Ford, Peugeot, and Renault.
