We develop our largest projects for major corporate clients, but their implementation makes more and more aspects of everyday life for millions of people increasingly eco-friendly.

A multi-stage undertaking involving numerous engineers, designers, and specialists has just been completed. The project comprises more than 120,000 photovoltaic modules installed across 1,200 locations throughout Poland.

Green energy generated by rooftop photovoltaic installations at Biedronka stores will power lighting systems, refrigerated counters and freezers, air conditioning, as well as bread-baking machines. Thanks to these installations, energy consumption at each store included in the project will decrease by approximately 15% annually.

How much energy can be saved as a result? Each year, the electricity produced by our installations would be enough, for example, to drive approximately 360 million kilometers in an electric car. That distance is equivalent to a round trip from Earth to Mars at a favorable planetary alignment.

The same amount of energy would also allow an electric car to circle our planet along the equator around 9,000 times — illustrating the scale of impact our installations deliver every year.
